Trip Highlights: This is an exciting 7 days Kenya budget wilderness safari into some of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, suppose the arrival is in the morning – you will be welcomed by our driver/guide, who will brief you on your Safari and take you to your vehicle for departure to Lake Nakuru National Park for a memorable game viewing drive and bird watching experience. You will arrive in good time for lunch at your guest house. In the afternoon, you will have your first Game viewing drive in the Park before returning in the evening to the guest house for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in central Kenya and is protected by a small Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.

After breakfast, check out of the guest house and depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve via Narok arriving in time for check in and lunch at the Ol Moran.  After lunch, you will proceed with an afternoon Game drive till evening when you return to the Ol Moran tented for rest and dinner.

The Maasai Mara, now The New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the  predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture. Day 3 – 4:  Maasai Mara Game Reserve (2 Full day)

Spend two days within Maasai Mara viewing wildlife across this game studded reserve. You will also look out for the big five and other plains game. Enjoy picnic lunches to avoid disrupting game viewing. You will also have the option of taking a pre-breakfast balloon flight safari, at an extra cost, which will give you an unforgettable experience as you view animals very early in the morning from a birds’ eye view.

The wildebeests are the most dominant inhabitants of the Maasai Mara. Their numbers are estimated in millions. The great migration starts in July each year when well over one million wildebeest along with large numbers of Thompson’s gazelles, zebra and other herbivores migrate from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania to fresh pastures in the north and then back south again in October.

You may opt to carry out your game viewing activity on an adventurous and unforgettable balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost on one of the days. This package includes a bush breakfast in the wild.

Day 5:  Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast you will check out and head to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi where you will serve lunch. Arrive in good time for evening game viewing en route to your Kibo Safari camp for check in, rest and dinner.

Amboseli is famous for its huge elephant herds. Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro sits in the upper slopes of Amboseli National Park.  Mt Kilimanjaro’s snow white peaks lie across the border of Tanzania. Seeing Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For an enthusiastic photographer, taking pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the elephants, buffalos, black rhino and other plain animals are in plenty.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

After early morning breakfast, spend the full day game viewing across the plains of Amboseli National Park, lunch will be served at the lodge.

16 Days – Zanzibar’s Bush and Beach Holiday Adventure

Highlights: This lodge safari takes you to the northern circuit which is ideal for the adventure loving visitors as it includes some of the most challenging terrain. However the attractions are by their very nature extremely rewarding, the 7th wonder of the world Mara and finally to the island of Zanzibar which paradise heaven on its own. You will use a pop up roof land cruiser for your safari part of the journey and provided and with all meals mentioned at the lodges and camp sites.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival- Nairobi

On Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi Kenya, You are met and greeted by our tour manager and Transferred to your city hotel after a short briefing. The day is spent in Nairobi visiting sites The Nairobi Museum, Nairobi rail way museum.

Nairobi Museum show cases allot of features, like nature exhibition (geology, natural diversity, evolution of diversity, adaptive radiation and human origins) a hall of wonders and a space for audio visual presentations. In addition, there is a reception area, KMS shop and space for temporary exhibitions. There is additional space provided for the ecological dioramas; culture exhibition including cycles of life, contemporary culture and arts; history of Kenya (and history of Nairobi) and a multipurpose education space.

Day 2: Nairobi- Sweetwaters

After Breakfast drive to sweet waters and arrive in time for lunch you will make a brief stop at the equator. Take an afternoon game drive the park also offers night game drives.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy in the foothills of Mount Kenya incorporating Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees. A safari on Ol Pejeta is the ultimate Kenyan holiday experience. It is a chance to see the Big 5: elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard. Day 3: Sweetwaters- Samburu

Depart for Samburu and arrive in time for lunch at the camp site. Have an afternoon game drive.

Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big cats – lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya Park: Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudu and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colorful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen.

You will have an all morning game drive Game drives safari .Lunch at the camp site. With a visit to the Samburu community in the afternoon and experience their unique cultural culture through traditional ceremonies, food, dances and sale of traditional crafts.

Camp Samburu Intrepid is a camp with a stunning location on the banks of River Ewaso Nyiro where you can easily site crocodiles the please is rich with culture of the samburu people and a historical spring where a spring was formed after a bomb was dropped after a mistake of identity btw the British and the Italians. Day 5:Samburu & Buffalo Springs Game Reserve

Day 6: Samburu- Masai Mara Game Reserve

After an early morning game drive and breakfast at Camp, we will flight to the great and famous Masai Mara national park to see the unforgettable wildlife experience (in season). Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Game viewing drives in the morning and afternoon visit to the Masai who live near the park.

Day 9:Serengeti National Park

After the morning game drives and breakfast, you depart Serengeti national park with a picnic lunch and head towards Ngorongoro Crater the en-route experience driving to Ngorongoro gives you the best feel of the East African safari adventure as you explore the vast plains of Serengeti before arriving at Ngorongoro Crater. In the afternoon, splendid views of the crater can be observed.

Ngorongoro crater Covering 260 sq. km, the crater is a great wildlife attraction. You will have no trouble spotting Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and many species of plains animals -Wildebeest, Zebra, Reedbuck, Thompson gazelle and many more. Day 12- 15: Ngorongoro Conservancy Area- Zanzibar Beach

After breakfast, you depart Ngorongoro Crater to the lovely spice Island of Zanzibar for your beach relaxation treat for the rest of your tour by flight.

Zanzibar is still the best-kept secret in the Indian Ocean, with its fascinating historical Stone Town and magnificent beaches. Prison Island once the site of a goal for misbehaving slaves, the island lies just off the old stone town. Upon arrival in Arusha where game safari ends bound a ferry to Zanzibar island for beach relaxation. The trip will start from Nairobi and end in Nairobi. During your safari, you will have a chance to spot plenty of wildlife varying from the big five; the lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the leopard amongst a host of other different animal species. After your safari you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi for your international departure flight. While in Tanzania you will travel in a 4×4 safari land cruiser. Day 1: Arrival –Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the Morning, you will be welcome by our Tour Manager, who will brief you on your Safari and escort you to your vehicle for departure to check in to your Hotel Panafric Sarova in Nairobi. After check in you may opt for Nairobi excursion with a visit to animal orphanage just 15 minute drive from your hotel, here you be able to see, Lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal, serval, warthog, ostrich, leopard, various monkeys, baboon, buffalo. Lunch will be served at carnivore restaurant thereafter visit near animal orphanage the famous Giraffe centre which is a wonderful and refreshing experience to be able to feed giraffe. In the evening you be transferred back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi – Arusha – Lake Manyara

After morning breakfast, you will check out to depart to Arusha by boarding a shuttle bus where you will arrive in time for lunch in Arusha restaurant before heading to Lake Manyara National Park for check in at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge.

Lake Manyara: Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the Park is recognized for its incredible beauty. Lake Manyara National park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life and breathtaking views. The Park is home to elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebras, a variety of antelope and a large population of hippo. If you are lucky you may see the famous Manyara lions, lazily resting on the branches of the acacia tortilis tree.

Within the Serengeti, it is possible to enjoy a hot air balloon safari. These balloons take off at dawn to avoid the heat which develops as the day progresses.  They drift high over grazing herds which cannot be accessed by vehicles. After approximately an hour’s flight, a gentle landing is followed by a champagne-style bush breakfast on the landing site, where pilots and passengers toast yet another memorable experience

Day  7 : Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After early breakfast, enjoy early morning game viewing within the Great Serengeti for a chance to spot the early predators as they start off their day. After lunch, depart to Ngorongoro Crater. If you wish, you may stop at Ol Duvai Gorge for a cultural tour of the origins of mankind. Arrive at your lodge in the evening and rest, relax or swim at your lodge as you wait for dinner to be served.

The first view of the Ngorongoro Crater is breath taking. The huge caldera (collapsed volcano) covering 25 km in size and 600m deep is an amazing site of the crater. The crater is home to Tanzania’s only remaining Black Rhino population. The elephant, Hippo, Zebra, Antelope, Gazelle, and small creatures such as frogs, snakes and serval cats are also common in this beautiful reserve. The Maskat Soda Lake located inside the crater is a great attraction for flamingos and other water birds making the crater a bird watcher’s haven.  The crater is also known for its rich history.  It is believed that the earliest sign of mankind (the homo-habilis) was spotted here. It is in this crater that hominid footprints are preserved in a volcanic rock 3.6 m years old.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, descend to the crater floor carrying packed picnic lunch with you. Enjoy game viewing within this beautiful caldera and break for lunch at one of the numerous picnic sites located inside the park. After lunch, ascend back to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, where you will have an overnight stay at naura spring hotel in Arusha.

Day 9: Arusha – Zanzibar

After morning breakfast, depart to board a schedule ferry to Zanzibar Island where you will start your beach relaxation holiday. Upon arrival, you will be checked in at blue bay resort.

Day 10-13: Zanzibar

Day 14: Zanzibar – Arusha
