Trip Highlight: This is an exciting 15 Days best of Kenya Adventure private safari into the best sanctuaries in the country as highlighted above. This safari starts upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport and ends after a drop off at Watamu. You will be able to see plenty of wildlife varying from Kenya’s big five; the lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the leopard amongst a host of other different animal species. You will travel in a private 4×4 Land cruiser tour safari vehicle and stay in Hotel, Lodges and Tented camps on full board basis while on this safari.
Detailed Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our tour manager and Driver/guide who will warmly welcome you, brief you on your safari then thereafter transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Relaxation in Nairobi
Spend the day at Leisure or if you so need, we can organize you a short excursion of the city at extra cost. You can opt to visit Nairobi Animal Orphanage, Nairobi safari, David Sheldrick Baby Elephant orphanage, and the famous Nairobi giraffe Centre. You will have the opportunity to come up-close with the wild and take memorable pictures with this wild.

Day 3: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park
After morning breakfast, check out and drive to the shoulders of Mt. Kenya arriving at the Ark lodge for lunch. After lunch, sit at the Ark Lodge balcony and you view game that often visits the floodlit waterhole and salt-lick e.g. elephants, rhino, buffalo and giant forest hog.

Day 4: Aberdare National Park – Samburu National Reserve
After morning, check out and be driven to Samburu National Reservecrossing the Equator and driving through changing terrain to the rugged semi-desert region in the northern Kenya. Though harsh, it is blessed with species rarely found elsewhere. You will arrive in time for lunch at lodge. In the afternoon, you will game drive to search for the stars of Samburu.

Day 5: Samburu National Reserve
Full day in Samburu with game drives .Search for the rare liver red reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Blue flanked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Longneck Gerenuk. See braving lions on the grass, Cheetah, Leopards among plenty of other plains game. (Optional visits to Samburu villages).

Day 6: Samburu National Reserve – Nyahururu Thompson’s Fall – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast with picnic lunch leave Samburu for Isiolo and continue to Nyahururu where you will have a stop over at the Thomson’s falls before you proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for game drive where you will have a chance to see large flocks of flamingos which transforms the shores of Lake Nakuru pink. You will also see rhino, giraffe, buffalo, zebra among other species. Proceed to Lake Nakuru Flamingo Hill Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in central Kenya and is protected by a small Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Bogoria National Reserve – Lake Baringo
After breakfast, depart for Lake Bogoria where you will visit the hot geysers and have lunch. Explore the lake Bogoria, this is a highly concentrated lake with flamingoes and you will be able to see the hot springs. After exploring this lake, proceed to Lake Baringo for optional boat rides followed by dinner and overnight at Soi Safari Lodge or similar
Day 8: Lake Baringo – Lake Naivasha
Enjoy a morning breakfast at the lodge, in the midmornings, you will depart and drive to Lake Naivasha, arrive in good time for an evening optional boat ride at the Lake; this will give you unforgettable experience to see hippos at close range. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge or similar
Day 9: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve
After morning breakfast at your lodge, check out and depart to Masai Mara National reserve. Arrive in Mara in time for lunch after checking in at your lodge. In the afternoon, you will have game viewing drive till dusk, and then return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Maasai Mara National Reserve
On this day, you may start by going for hot air balloon flight in the early morning as an optional adventure. Alternatively, you can start breakfast for a full day game viewing of the migration of wildebeest which is staged at this period of time. You will opt for a lunch break back at the camp or have packed lunch carried for in the van.
Morning and afternoon game viewing inside the Park for full day in search for wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful, Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape.
Between meals there is optional visit to the Maasai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so wish. You will have first hand opportunity to experience and learn Maasai way of life.

In the early morning, you may opt to take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon provided at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.

Day 11: Maasai Mara – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will continue with the safari to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi where you will stop for lunch. You will proceed and lunch, arrive in good time for check in and thereafter enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk, dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari camp.
Amboseli is famous for its huge elephant herds. Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro sits in the upper slopes of Amboseli National Park. Mt Kilimanjaro’s snow white peaks lie across the border of Tanzania. Seeing Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For an enthusiastic photographer, taking pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the elephants, buffalos, black rhino and other plain animals are in plenty.

Day 12: Amboseli National Park -Tsavo West National Park
Pre-breakfast game viewing drive in further search of animals and the better chances to see the Mount Kilimanjaro, after breakfast, check out and depart for Tsavo West with a game viewing drive en-route arriving in time for check in and lunch at Kilaguni Serena lodge or similar. In the afternoon, you will have a game viewing drive, with a visit of the rhino Sanctuary whereby if you are lucky you might see the “shy” rhino. Other animals likely to be seen are Elephants, Lion, zebra, Buffalo, warthog, Antelopes etc. There exists a large variety of Bird species, migratory and local at the Tsavo West.

Day 13: Tsavo West National Park – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Pre and after breakfast game drive looking for animals, later on game drive en route as you depart Tsavo West Park, in the morning and drive to Mzima springs game en route to voyager tented camp for lunch then proceed through Mwakitau gate to Taita wildlife game sanctuary. Check-in at Sarova Salt Lick game lodge and begin game drive in the Taita Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon game viewing drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary – Dinner and overnight will be at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is complex of roundavels sitting on stilts over a series of water holes. The two-storey towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs, are connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. You can see animals as they come to drink at the waterholes and in all directions because it offers spectacular open views.
Day 14: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary – Tsavo East National Park.
Pre and after breakfast game drive looking for animals, later on game drive en route as you leave the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, and drive to Tsavo East entering the park through Voi Gate. Embark on a game drive looking for animals like herds of Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Zebra, Impala, and Monkey among many others. Check in at Voi Safari Lodge and serve lunch. After lunch and a short rest, proceed for an afternoon game drive till late in the evening where you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 15: Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa – Watamu
Pre and after breakfast game drive looking for animals, you will visit the Lugard’s falls, Later on game drive en route as you leave the Tsavo East for a transfer to Watamu via Mombasa where you will stop for lunch. On arrival in Watamu, you will be transferred to your preferred location for drop off.
