Trip Highlight: This is an exciting 5 Days best of Kenya Wilderness Private safari as highlighted above. This safari starts upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport. You will be able to see plenty of wildlife varying from Kenya’s big five; the lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the leopard amongst a host of other different animal species and enjoy days sunbathing on our beautiful sand beach of Watamu. You will travel in a private tour van safari vehicle and stay in Hotel, lodge, Resort and tented camps on full board basis while on this safari.
Detailed Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our tour manager and Driver/guide who will warmly welcome you, brief you on your safari then thereafter transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.
After morning breakfast, depart the lake for Amboseli National Park with first stopping at Lake Naivasha for an hour activity – the memorable boat ride at extra cost of $35pp for a chance to see the wild at up-close range. You will also stop for lunch in a Nairobi restaurant. Arrive in time in Amboseli for evening game viewing drive till dusk, check in to your Kibo safari camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Bed and Breakfast at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi or Similar
Pre breakfast game drive then after breakfast, spend your time with the parks elephants and you can also opt to visit the Masai villages at extra cost of $30pp. The park is famous for the biggest elephants.
Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Africa’s highest Mountain – Mt Kilimanjaro sits on the upper slopes of Amboseli National park. Mt. Kilimanjaro snow white peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Seeing the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For the enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the Elephants, Amboseli is a home to; buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest and other plain animals.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park
On this day, we leave soon after breakfast for Tsavo West National Park. Visit the Chyulu Hills and the Mzima Springs, which are favorite haunts of both the hippo and crocodile that can be seen from an underwater observation chamber if time permits.
Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya (at 22,000 sq km). Tsavo West covers a wide variety of landscapes, from swamps and natural springs to rocky peaks, extinct volcanic cones and rolling plains. The dramatic Chyulu Hills are a collection of ancient volcanic cinder cones with splendid views of Kilimanjaro and populations of elands, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.
Dinner and overnight at the Ngulia safari lodge or similar
Day 4: Tsavo West National Park
This day will be spent exploring the park including the nature trails. In Tsavo West birds are very common – look out for the white-bellied go-away bird, red-beaked hornbills and Bateleur Eagles. There are also large populations of elephants, zebras and leopards. Look out for dung beetles rolling huge balls of elephant dung along the tracks.
Day 5: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park
Early in the morning we drive to Tsavo East. This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits.
The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks.
Dinner and overnight at Aruba Ashnil lodge or similar
Day 6: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi
After morning break, you will have a road transfer to the Mombasa airport for your afternoon schedule flight to Nairobi in time to connect on to the late evening flight to your next destination.
