Trip Highlight: This is an exciting 7 Days best of Kenya Adventure group camping safari into the best sanctuaries in the country as highlighted above. This safari starts upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport. You will be able to see plenty of wildlife varying from Kenya’s big five; the lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the leopard amongst a host of other different animal species. You will travel in a shared tour minibus safari vehicle and stay in Hotel and camps on full board basis while on this safari.

Detailed Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport early on this morning, you will be met by our tour manager and Driver/guide who will warmly welcome you, brief you on your safari then thereafter transfer you to your group for departure to Masai Mara National Reserve, here you will game drive upon your arrival, and lunch will be at Manyatta Safari Camp. In the evening you will enjoy a game viewing drive till dusk and return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve, now the New 7th wonder of the world and 4th most preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture. It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.

DSC09111Day 2 & 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve (2 full days)

You will spend two full days game viewing, which includes going up to the Mara River where the migration of wildebeests and zebras takes place annually from Serengeti, popularly known as the Great Annual Migration. You will have a picnic lunch and proceed with the game viewing drives till dusk where you will have a rest at Manyatta camp. You can also opt to visit the Maasai Villages in the afternoon if you wish to.

In November 2006 the Maasai Mara was named as the New 7th wonder of the world because of what experts termed as “the uniqueness of the area and the preservation it provides to so many species living in harmony”. It is understandable because this annual migration is the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth.

Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight

You can opt to carry out your game viewing activity on an adventurous balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost. This package includes a bush breakfast in the wild!

All meals and overnight stay will be at Manyatta Safari Camp or similar

Day 4: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After morning breakfast, you will check out and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy your first game viewing drive upon arrival till lunch time where it shall be served at your Chester Hotel. In the evening, you will have another game viewing drive at the Pink Lake referred so for it’s thousands of pink flamingos and other bird-life-it’s a Bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of animals; all the “big five” except the elephant can be seen here. Thereafter return for dinner and overnight stay

Dinner and overnight at Chester Hotel or similar

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha – Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

After morning breakfast, depart the lake for Amboseli National Park with first stopping at Lake Naivasha for an hour activity – the memorable boat ride at extra cost of $30pp for a chance to see the wild at up-close range.  You will also stop for lunch in a Nairobi restaurant. Arrive in time in Amboseli for evening game viewing drive till dusk, check in to your Kibo safari camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Pre breakfast game drive then after breakfast, spend your time with the parks elephants and you can also opt to visit the Masai villages at extra cost of $30pp. The park is famous for the biggest elephants.

Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Africa’s highest Mountain – Mt Kilimanjaro sits on the upper slopes of Amboseli National park. Mt. Kilimanjaro snow white peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Seeing the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For the enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the Elephants, Amboseli is a home to; buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest and other plain animals.

Lunch, dinner and Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp or similar

Day 7: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi – Departure

Enjoy a morning game viewing drive in this park till lunch time, after lunch; depart to Nairobi where upon arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your schedule Midnight outbound flight to your next destination.
