Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our tour manager and Driver/guide who will warmly welcome you, brief you on your safari then thereafter transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay at Intercontinental Hotel Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
After morning breakfast at your hotel, check out and depart to Masai Mara National reserve. Arrive in Mara in time for lunch after checking in at your lodge. In the evening at 4:00pm, you will have game viewing drive till dusk, and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

On these days, you may start by going for hot air balloon flight in the early morning as an optional adventure. Alternatively, you can start breakfast for the two full day’s game viewing at the Mara River where the annual migration of wildebeest is staged at during the month of July to September. You will opt for a lunch break back at the lodge or have packed lunch carried for in the vehicle.
Morning and afternoon game viewing inside the Park for full day in search for wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful, Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape.

Lunch shall be served upon arrival at Lake Nakuru Sarova Hill Tented Camp or Lake Nakuru Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Africa’s highest Mountain – Mt Kilimanjaro sits on the upper slopes of Amboseli National park. Mt. Kilimanjaro snow white peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Seeing the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For the enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the Elephants, Amboseli is a home to; buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest and other plain animals.

Day 12: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park
On this day, we leave soon after breakfast for Tsavo West National Park. Visit the Chyulu Hills and the Mzima Springs, which are favorite haunts of both the hippo and crocodile that can be seen from an underwater observation chamber if time permits.

Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya (at 22,000 sq km). Tsavo West covers a wide variety of landscapes, from swamps and natural springs to rocky peaks, extinct volcanic cones and rolling plains. The dramatic Chyulu Hills are a collection of ancient volcanic cinder cones with splendid views of Kilimanjaro and populations of elands, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.

Day 13: Tsavo West National Park
This day will be spent exploring the park including the nature trails. In Tsavo West birds are very common – look out for the white-bellied go-away bird, red-beaked hornbills and Bateleur Eagles. There are also large populations of elephants, zebras and leopards. Look out for dung beetles rolling huge balls of elephant dung along the tracks.

Day 14: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park
Early in the morning we drive to Tsavo East. This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits.

The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks.

Day 15: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi – Departure

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, suppose the arrival is in the morning – you will be welcomed by our driver/guide, who will brief you on your Safari and take you to your vehicle for departure to Lake Nakuru National Park for a memorable game viewing drive and bird watching experience. In the afternoon, you will have your first Game viewing drive in the Park before returning in the evening to the guest house for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in central Kenya and is protected by a small Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.

After breakfast, check out of the guest house and depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve via Narok arriving in time for check in and lunch at the Ol Moran.  After lunch, you will proceed with an afternoon Game drive till evening when you return to the Ol Moran tented for rest and dinner.

After lunch at Homa bay, proceed to Rusinga island, do a tour of the Island to the historical places including the museum (where the remains of the first man were found) by Doctor Louise Leakey, Tom Mboya Mausoleum where this accomplished nationalist cum- politician was buried after his assassination on a Nairobi street in 1969. Nairobi National Park: This is a unique ecosystem by being the only protected area in the world close to a capital city. The park is located only 7 km from Nairobi city centre and comprises of different vegetation types. Open grass plains with scattered acacia bush are predominant. The western side has a highland dry forest and a permanent river with a riverine forest.  To the south are the Athi-Kapiti Plains and Kitengela migration corridor which are important wildlife dispersal areas during the rain season. Man-made dams within the park have added a further habitat, favourable to certain species of birds and other aquatic biome.
